H2O2 or Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy, The next step I took

I know it’s been just over 2 years since I last posted about the beginning of my healing journey so I would like to return to that line of thought.  It’s hard not to just jump ahead and get to what I’m doing now, but I promised I would talk about this.

The next thing I tried was Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy.
Now this is not the brown bottle peroxide that you pick up at your local pharmacy.  This is actually a dangerous chemical if not handled safely.  But if you have been through high school, you’ve probably been through some sort of chemistry class and done lab time.  Lab time should have taught you to wear gloves, cover your body, preferably with a smock or apron and make sure you have a clear work area to decrease the chances of spilling.  I give this warning now because if I don't some might accidentally hurt themselves and I don't want that to happen.  I want the experience to be a good one, because done properly it is one of the best things I've done for my body.

Dry Spice Tea as Pain Relief

In my never ending search to reduce my intake of over the counter pills and prescriptions I have come accross a couple of herbal mixtures that actually do help and dont have to break the bank.

My personal mix is evolving every time I make it.  I call it Turmeric Chia Tea and it includes:

The reason I seem to have abandoned my blogs...

I was raised a consumate crafter. My mom, didn't know that I had ADD, she just knew I needed to keep my hands busy.  I believe she may have been undiagnosed herself (I'll knever know unless she gets tested).

Done moving… now what...

Well, the move is finished, just one more task to go.  Things have been so hectic that I haven't had a moment to breath in so long, I've almost forgotten how.  This move has done more than just relocate my life, it threw it for a loop.

Since the move my appointments have fallen out of sync, meaning I'm not getting my gold shots on a regular schedule anymore.  I'm almost to the point where I can get into a schedule, but these past few months had had there toll on me.  I've been through a few flares recently, and I wasn't able to pinpoint any food triggers.  That told me that the gold shots were doing a good job.  I can't wait for things to settle down some more so that I can get back to full time pain free.

Of course the flares mean that I don't get my remission badge, sigh, I guess I'll have to work harder to get my diet back on track and my shots on time.  I'm working on another post about the next step I took in my journey to this point, but I've hit a road block, or writers block if you like.  I'm kind of stuck and not sure how to proceed.  I hope to have it posted by the end of next week.  The next post is about Hydrogen Peroxide Therapy, and is quite involved, so I want to do it right.

Enjoy the crisp winter days, I'm loving the beautiful snow.

Cheers.

Almost finished this business of moving….

Since my move to Fort McMurray things have been a whirl wind of activity.  I don't remember moves requiring this much paperwork and shopping.

Also since moving I have experienced a few flares and an uncomfortable reaction to my Gold Shots.  I've developed rashes, and it is not fun.  So with the development of the rashes I have been forced to go weeks without my Gold, which showed me for sure that the Gold was a major player in my almost remission.  It saddens me that I might have to discontinue a medicine that was finally showing some promise of working, and it scares me to know that I might have to "detox" off of the Gold, which to me says "get ready for the worst".  I have visions of being set back to square one with pain off the scales again.  I'm worried.  My pain and stiffness are manageable at the moment, no more than a 1.5-2 on the pain scale, but it is getting more and more difficult to bend my middle fingers, I hope no one takes offence when I am unable to include them in my morning hand exercises, would hate to make anyone think I'm being rude, lol.

Other than that I'm still waiting for word from a new Rheumatologyst, but that may be my fault.  I changed my phone number and forgot to tell the Doctor's office…  yet another road block to my moving paperwork…  who thinks of these things.

I do hope to start up contributing to this blog on a regular basis again soon, just a few more kinks to iron out before I have time on my hands again.  I hope that I haven't lost any readers due to my hiatus.
